Edinburgh Body Tonic ~ Fitness Instruction

The Gyrotonic method was developed in America and has evolved to provide the ultimate body conditioning experience. Edinburgh Body Tonic offers one-to-one Gyrotonic sessions to clients of all backgrounds and abilities.
Working with an accredited instructor, you’ll perform a range of fluid movements on a specially designed machine to tone, stretch, strengthen and align every part of your body. The system derived from yoga, swimming, ballet, tai chi and gymnastics and can be tailored to meet the needs of all individuals, from those using it for general fitness and conditioning to professional dancers and athletes, as well as those who need a more therapeutic application because of injury or illness.

Our Instructors
Rhona Maclean is the founder of Edinburgh Body Tonic and a certified GYROTONIC ® instructor. Originally from the Highlands of Scotland, Rhona is a trained ballet dancer who studied at Ballet West and graduated in 2001.
